Integration Pack for BMC BladeLogic

The Kelverion Integration Pack for BMC BladeLogic Server Automation is a compliant integration for Microsoft System Center Orchestrator.

This Integration Pack provides pre-defined integration and automation capabilities associated with
BladeLogic server management activities, including server configuration, server configuration comparison (audit) and software package deployment.

In addition, the IP provides an activity to generically access the BladeLogic CLI, which allows users to perform most BladeLogic Server Automation tasks.

The Integration Pack delivers a range of re-usable objects to automate IT-Functions such as:

Provisioning

Perform “bare metal” provisioning on new servers and re-provision operating systems on existing ones

Configuration

Provision, patch, configure, and manage heterogeneous servers according to policy

Compliance

Measure and demonstrate compliance with internal and external standards and regulations

BMC BladeLogic Activities

Create BLPackage – Create BLPackage based on the information collected from an Audit Activity

Create Deploy Job – Create a basic deploy job which can be used to deploy a BLPackage or a Software Package to managed servers.

Run Job – Run one of the supported BladeLogic Jobs

Get Job Running Status – Determine a job’s running status

Export Audit Results – Export the results of an Audit Job Run to a file, in HTML or CSV
format

Set Server – Set a server property value on a BladeLogic server

Run BLCLI Command – Execute BMC Blade Logic Command Line instructions from within a Runbook

Run Custom BLCLI Command – Execute BLCLI commands that are not available through the Run
